Welcome to ABATE of Colorado’s Motorcycle Rider Education Division
Do you want to learn how to ride a motorcycle? Do you want to learn from the most experienced and largest training company in the state? ABATE of Colorado has been the leader in Motorcycle Training since 1990. We are the only not-for-profit training company in the State and provide the highest quality rider safety training.
- We are strictly about Safety Training. We will not take you into a dealership in order to allow sales people to sell you things.
- Several dealers support Rider Education and refer students to our classes. Many give discounts for students who show their ABATE/MSF completion card after class. Look for special discount coupons for ABATE classes at your favorite shop or dealer.
- We have more training locations than anyone in Colorado. All of our ranges are certified by the MSF and MOST. All have bathroom facilities, water, ice and late-model, clean, well-maintained motorcycles that are appropriate sizes and configurations for training.
- All of our training locations are in school parking lots or other closed-off, secluded sites -- not at busy intersections or cramped, small parking lots in malls with traffic at close range.
- Our instructors are professional, passionate, fair and the best in the business. They have been recognized by the MSF for Instructor of Year routinely and also for developing and implementing new programs such as “Operation Save a Life” and motorcycle training for the deaf. They are updated regularly by our Certified Instructor Training Specialist.
- Our program is subject to stringent quality assurance. ABATE will not condense our Instructor to Student ratio. We are motorcyclists and, unlike other training companies in Colorado, will not sacrifice quality training or customer service for profit.
- We offer various training formats and class dates to meet most schedules. If you have a group of friends or family that wants to take a class, give us a call -- we’ll put together a private class for you.
- Scooters are available at most locations, but supplies are limited so please call to reserve yours. (Personal scooters may be used if the scooter meets the criteria.)
- We appreciate your service! Discounts are available for Active Duty, Reserve and National Guard military service members. Please call for information and registration.

RESIDENCY AND RATES:
COST OF COURSE INCLUDES $75 BRC AND $45 ERC REIMBURSEMENT(S) TO IN-STATE RESIDENTS AND MILITARY STATIONED IN COLORADO (IN ACCORDANCE TO THE MOST RULES). RESIDENCY IS BASED ON THE STATE PARTICIPANTS' DRIVERS LICENSE WAS ISSUED.
